Itinerary
Mirador El Silencio
Begin your guided walk at Mirador El Silencio, one of the must-see experiences in La Fortuna. Accompanied by a certified naturalist guide, learn about the history of the Arenal Volcano, its 1968 eruption, and why La Fortuna carries its name. Walk through lava flow paths, observe regenerating flora and local wildlife on the volcano’s slopes, and enjoy views within a park equipped with full amenities. The hike is light to moderate and suitable for travelers of all ages. Optional hot springs access is available after the walk.
